I just bought a new Mac Pro and when opening projects that were created on my G5, all instances of the Rocket have lost their settings. I’m not experiencing this with any other plug and since I use the Rocket so much, it’s requiring a lot of recreating mixes.
Is this a known issue?
I’m using Logic 8.0.2 on 10.5.6, 8-core 2.26 early 2009 Mac Pro.
Yes, unfortunately it’s a known issue. Settings are not portable across processor types (G5 -> Intel or vice versa) as of yet. This may get fixed in a later release, but it’s going to be a ton of work to fix without breaking ALL previous projects.
