Event Horizon Crashing Reaper

I’m using:
Event Horizon VST (trial Version, just downloaded last night)
Reaper v4.32
OSX 10.6.8 on MacBookPro7,1 (2010/2011 MBP), 2.4Ghz, 4 GB ram.

I’ve used reaper for several months now, no crashes or other problems recording and mixing with the included plugins. I downloaded Event Horizon and the 1973 VSTs last night (LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!). Reaper very frequently but not always crashes when adding, removing, or changing parameters on Event Horizon. At one point I had a saved session with Event Horizon on the master fader; Opening the EH plugin and toggling the “Clip / Off / Limit” button crashed the session every single time. I’ve since removed the plug, and am now unable to reproduce that exact scenario by reinstalling the plugin.

I understand the above info is vague, but I love the sound of both of these plugs. Any chance you can help me resolve the crashing so I can buy them with confidence?

Dean

P.s. I searched the forums for “Event Horizon” and “Crash” to see if there were previous topics that may solve my problem, but was unsuccessful at finding anything. Apologies if this issue has already been documented and resolved.

Event Horizon also crashes Reaper here. Tested on Windows Vista and XP 32 bit. See this thread also: forum.cockos.com/showthread.php? … ost1174265

It’s crashing ever since Cubase 5 or so, and we all know how long that is …
