Where to put clipper in plugin chain?

Just got the brilliant event horizon, i was wondering, is this meant to be placed before a limiter or after a limiter as the very last plugin on my master chain?

There isn’t any one correct answer. Event Horizon is a limiter as well as a clipper, and there’s nothing wrong with running it by itself…or with other dynamics plugins in multiple stages.

If you’re using it strictly as a clipper in mastering, you’d run it post-fader, next-to-last (before any dither/noise shaping which would be absolutely last). Otherwise, I’ll steal a quote and say…if it sounds good it IS good.
