I see in the descriptions for spectro that it can act as a multiband comp, but I don’t see how to do this. How can you make spectro reduce the volume based on a threshhold & ratio?
In Spectro, you can “ride” a frequency band by selecting hot areas within the band and reducing gain, to achieve the same result as a multiband compressor.
I guess it is a bit hyperbolic to call that multi-band compression though, so I’ve taken that line out of the web page description.
