i am really diggin the vibe. After a month wait for my new UAD2 card to come in (I was transitioning from PC to Mac and UAD1 to UAD2 at the same time) I finally was able to fire it up so I could compare Stillwell to UAD.
I’ve got the UAD 1073 and Pultecs, and the bottom line here is I am going to have to buy vibe. It just does stuff like nothing else. On some stuff, I like the 1073 better, but the vibe has got something cool going on.
If I could do it all again, I would probably buy all the Stillwell EQs and Comps and call it good for the bread and butter plugs.
