We’ve got two things to announce today: Linux and CLAP support across our current plugin catalog, and a new addition to the Tone series—Hot Glass.
Every current Stillwell Audio plugin is now at version 4.1.x, with native Linux builds and CLAP versions for Linux, macOS, and Windows.
Bringing the whole catalog to another platform has been a substantial piece of work. The goal throughout has been to carry these plugins forward while preserving the sound and working character that made them useful in the first place.
For Linux users, the builds support x86_64 systems with glibc 2.31 or later, using X11 or XWayland. Each Linux package includes VST3 and CLAP. On macOS and Windows, CLAP joins the existing formats.
Meet Hot Glass
Hot Glass models a valve stage as a circuit, with two controls: Drive and Output.
Drive pushes the stage into increasing harmonic density and saturation. Internal gain compensation helps you judge the change in character without being distracted by a jump in level, and Output handles final level matching. Under the hood, 4x oversampling helps keep the generated harmonics clean.
Try it on vocals, DI tracks, drums, buses, or a full mix. Alongside Fe26 and Remanence, it gives you another way to add body and character without a lot of controls getting between you and the sound.
Hot Glass v4.1.2 is available now for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

As always, the evaluation versions are fully functional. Give them a try, and let us know how you get on—especially if this is your first chance to use our plugins on Linux.
Thanks for sticking with us. We’re glad to finally get these into your hands.
