I’ve been trying the Spectro 3.0.3 recently in Reaper (v6.82) on Windows 11. The plugin itself works fine and the problem I have is that after saving the project and restarting reaper, the edits in the Spectro plugin are not retained and I basically need to start from scratch again. Do you have any idea what might be going on?
I don’t have an answer for you but I do have a suggestion. I’m not familiar with whatever Reaper calls applying the plugins to a track, but it could be render or bounce or something similar. After you’ve done your edits and are happy with the results, render the track so the edits are baked in that way you don’t have to rely on everything coming back ok in Spectro.
Make sure that you haven’t checked the “Disable saving full plugin state” option in REAPER’s Preferences > Plug-ins > Compatibility. That’s the only thing that comes to mind at the moment.
Thanks for the hint but no, this is not checked. My current work-around is to use the spectral editor from Reaper itself, which I discovered shortly after posting this question.
