But DAMN it sounds wonderful. I maxed out my machine today - first time ever - 3 year old 8 core Mac with loads of RAM, all legitimate software and RME convertors. That’s because the Bombardier made the drum buss sound amazing, the acoustic guitar buss sound amazing, the master buss sound amazing, the vocal buss sound amazing - everything. Alongside other Waves, Slate, Sonalksis and Sonnox plug-ins I managed to grind to a halt HALFWAY THROUGH A MIX! I had to retrace my steps and prioritise plug-ins according to the importance of the part - a strategy that led to possibly my best mix yet! Mental note for future: Use amazing plug-ins sparingly or buy more powerful Mac and don’t. Hmm…
