Am I right, assuming that the Compensation fader is located before the Threshold in the signal path; cause it’s certainly sounds like it is? Thanks.
EDIT: What I meant to say was that the Compensation fader adjusts the input gain and not the output.
Nope. Compensation is output adjustment…as in “to compensate for gain reduction”. It’s after the compressor.

Thank you for a quick response. I retested it just now and it sounds like you are absolutely right. I don’t know what was happening yesterday - maybe I placed the Rocket on the wrong track. In that case, sorry for my stupidity.
