# Random click before region start

Hi,
Thank you for all your hard work!
I downloaded the Rocket demo yesterday and it sounds and looks great. Only one problem…I am getting a random single click before the region starts only with Decadence engaged. It happens at all buffer settings 32 thru 1024. With Decadence disengaged, it never clicks. I tried the “empty region trick” where you insert an empty audio region before the first “real” region, but it still clicks. I really like what Decadence does, but I can’t get rid of the click. Any ideas?

What host, what depth and sample rate?
I’ll try to reproduce it. If I can reproduce it I can hopefully kill it.
Temporary workaround…have you tried automating the decadence parameter to only engage after the region starts?

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the quick reply. I’m on Logic Pro 8.0.2 working at 24/44.1. I haven’t tried automating the decadence parameter to only engage after the region starts. I’ll give it a try and report back. Check my signature for system specifics.
