version numbers?

i was thinking a while back of getting spectro and there was a comment somewhere, something to the effect of, ‘busily working on v3’ and that new feature requests might be considered after v3 was done.

i’ve been periodically perusing the website and forums but see no reference anywhere to version numbers. how does one find out what version is current if they don’t have the plugs yet? have i just missed it or is there actually no version reference on the site? i didn’t see it in the news section (or anywhere else) of the forum either.

Current versions vary across the site, but are predominantly 2.x.

There will be no doubt in anyone’s mind when V3 comes out - it’s a major change for us. It’s in testing now and will be released when it’s ready.
